Join the UAB Summer Band for its free Fourth of July concert featuring patriotic, pops and traditional band music at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, July 4 outside Bartow Arena.
The concert will include an audience sing-a-long medley and feature special guest soloist Geoffrey Gallante, an 8-year-old trumpet prodigy. You can buy chances to step in as guest conductor for the band on “Stars and Stripes Forever” for $2 each or three for $5. Afterward, make your way to the UAB Campus Green to watch the fireworks launched from atop Red Mountain.
