Construction is underway on the UAB Department of Radiation Oncology's Hazelrig-Salter Radiation Oncology Facility. This 50,000-square-foot facility is expected to open in March 2010. It will provide modern, patient-friendly surroundings with separate waiting areas for children and adults, and a park in front of the facility.
