Faculty Development Grant Program (FDGP) seeks proposals

<p>The UAB Faculty Development Grant Program (FDGP) provides seed money for research, teaching and service related projects designed to enhance the effectiveness of individual faculty members by providing funds for them to undertake new efforts for which time or money is not generally available.</p>

<p>The grant program is open to all UAB full time faculty within schools that have agreed to participate.  </p>

<p>Deadline for applications is Monday, April 16.</p>

<p>Applications must be prepared in accordance with the guidelines. An application can be obtained by contacting the Office of the Associate Provost for Faculty Development and Faculty Affairs at <a href="mailto:peelc@uab.edu">peelc@uab.edu</a>, by telephone at 934-0513 or in the Administration Building Room 374.</p>

<p>A maximum of $5,000 may be requested per individual application and $10,000 for multidisciplinary collaborative proposals and must be matched one-to-one by funds from schools and/or departments.</p>

<p>Awards are made for one year; funds will be available. Aug. 15 and must be expended by Aug. 14, 2008.</p>
