Ms. Sanders was appointed Interim Vice President in 2002 and to the permanent post in 2005. She had served as Director of Telecommunications at UAB since 1989. In her new position she is responsible for management and direction of all UAB computing, networking and telecommunicating technologies. She received her B.S. in business administration (marketing) from Auburn University in 1981.
