Communication skills are essential to be successful in Optometry. This course helps to increase the understanding of professional communication, communication problems and their solutions, and increase awareness and skills for excellent professional communication.

Supervise second, third, and fourth year interns during routine patient care in the primary care clinic and several community health centers.
Research:
Clinical research in the areas of myopia development, foveal sensitivity in glaucoma, and progression of keratoconus.
