OPT 311-Clinical Management in Vision Care
This course addresses the clinical diagnosis and management of commonly encountered visual problems. The problem solving approach to patient care is emphasized in lectures and case presentations.
OPT 312-Contact Lenses I
This course serves as the introductory course about contact lenses as a vision correction option and the procedures and techniques applicable to contact lens practice. The historical development, physical and optical properties and care systems for soft contact lenses will be covered. Soft contact lens design, fitting philosophies, and application to the human eye with anatomic, physiologic and visual considerations are emphasized.
CLN 412- Contact Lens Clinic
In this clinic rotation,4th year interns provide primary eye care with an emphasis on basic and advanced contact lens fittings.
Research:
Currently involved in a research project to evaluate the efficacy of an artificial tear.
