OPT 321, Contact Lenses II - A continuation of Contact Lenses I, this class explores rigid gas-permeable fitting principles as well as advanced soft contact lens fitting techniques, including presbyopia and post-surgical cases. I am an instructor in the laboratory portion of OPT 321 and a guest lecturer for the didactic portion of OPT 321.
Research:
My research interests are in dry eye diagnosis and treatment, the affect of various contact lens materials and corneal surgeries on dry eye syndrome and health disparities related to primary eye care.
