There is an affiliated clinic on the campus of the Alabama Institute for Deaf and Blind (AIDB). Comprehensive eye care is provided for residential students from the Alabama School for the Blind, The Alabama School for the Deaf, The Helen Keller School and the E.H. Gentry Special Technical Facility. Vision assessments are provided for sensory impaired infants and children from around the State who are referred to AIDB for comprehensive evaluations.
The Northern Health Clinic, located in downtown Birmingham and the Bessemer Clinic are multidisciplinary public health clinics where we provide eye and vision care to area residents.
