On Monday, February16th, Dean John Amos gave the annual State of the School address during a luncheon meeting in Volker Hall. Approximately 130 students, faculty and staff were in attendance. This year the emphasis was on the current economy and its impact on the School. Dr. Amos discussed how the School is addressing the decrease in state funding. In addition, he reviewed the School’s research and development endeavors; highlighted the achievements of the various programs, departments and centers; and recognized the students, faculty and alumni who have excelled as leaders over the past year.
