Biography
Kathleen Brown, R.N., Ph.D. is Professor and Chair of the Community Health, Outcomes and Systems Department, Deputy Director of the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health Deep South Center for Occupational Safety and Health, Director of Occupational Health Nursing, and senior scientist in the UAB Centers for Outcomes Effectiveness Research and Education, Arthritis and Musculoskeletal Diseases, Education and Therapeutics in Musculoskeletal Disorders, and Injury Control Research. Dr. Brown serves as a member of the NIOSH Board of Scientific Counselors, clinic director of the City of Birmingham Occupational Health Clinic, and co-P.I. of the City of Birmingham Good Health Program.
