The Department of Community Health, Outcomes and Systems

The Department of Community Health, Outcomes and Systems is focused on instruction, research and service that promotes positive health outcomes and quality health care for individuals, groups, and communities. Foci within this department include assessment of health risks, promotion and protection of physical and mental health, management of health outcomes, and effective health services delivery. The Department emphasizes preparing students for leadership roles in managing aggregates at BSN, master's and doctoral levels. Faculty prepare BSN students in mental health, community health, leadership, and research courses and master's students and doctoral students are prepared in epidemiology, research methods, management of clinical and organizational outcomes, and information systems.
