Biography
Growing up, I never dreamed of being a nurse. I "fell" into the discipline in college. It was the best thing that ever happened to me. Nursing has provided opportunities grand and glorious. I have worked as a nurse in Israel, India, and Thailand. I have worked at the bedside in critical care and in the emergency department, have been an administrator, have taught, and have published a nursing textbook. I am never bored. Every time I travel, I meet another nurse and we instantly strike up a conversation. I treasure the sisterhood of nurses and hope to expand the brotherhood of nursing!
