The Department of Adult/Acute Health Chronic Care & Foundations

The Department of Adult/Acute Health Chronic Care & Foundations is one of three departments in the School of Nursing at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. The department's faculty contributes their expertise to courses taught at the undergraduate, masters, and doctoral level. Baccalaureate courses consist of those concerning foundations, pharmacology, adult health. Master's courses include those leading to specialization as an Adult Clinical Nurse Specialist or Adult, Acute Care, or Women's Health Nurse Practitioner. Doctoral courses focus on biobehavioral foundations and research. Faculty in the Department include:
