We are all aware of the decreasing supply of primary care physicians, nurses and other health care professionals. The coming retirement of the baby-boom generation will only magnify the problems we are already beginning to see. Dr. O'Neil's research has focused on changing practice paradigms in nursing, in medical education, in dentistry, in veterinary medicine, and in academic health centers. His current efforts focus on integrating primary care.
