University Department of Training and Development

School of Nursing Training :
HIPAA Training - Health Insurance Portability & Accountability Act Training - This training session is completed only once prior to your entering the clinical setting or within 5 days of employment at UAB. OSHA Training - Blood Borne Pathogens Testing - This training session is completed by faculty and credentialed course instructors annually, prior to entering the clinical setting.

Diversity Training - This is a 2-part training session, which includes both online and classroom training. The Diversity training is to be completed within 30 days of employment at UAB. Click http://www.uab.edu/equityanddiversity/ for directions to assist you with navigating through this training.
Effort Report Education and Compliance Training - This training session is completed one time if you become funded on monies that are considered to be grant or contract related and should be completed within 2 weeks of your becoming funded in this manner.
