Professional development provides an opportunity for faculty to be engaged in the delivery of expert content to consumers of interest in the local community to the state, nation, and throughout the world. Professional development at the UASON-UAB includes both on-site and distance educational offerings in an online Blackboard Vista format. Ongoing professional development topic areas are offered via UASON faculty in areas of content and clinical expertise. The UASON Professional Development Committee provides oversight in the development, management, implementation, and evaluation of all professional development activities.
