This section of the web page highlights international teaching, scholarship, and service activities of selected School of Nursing students and faculty, and will be updated regularly as these activities are dynamic! The mission statement of the School of Nursing highlights the importance of an international perspective and focus:
“The UASON as part of a research university and academic health center, prepares nurse leaders to excel as clinicians, researchers and educators, advancing knowledge and the delivery of high quality health care in Alabama and worldwide.”
Although this section does not include all students and faculty who are engaged in international work, it will provide an example of the types of activities that contribute to meeting the above mission in a global context.
