UAB Honors Program Student Larry Slater made a presentation in Spanish via videoconference to the members of the Colombian Nursing Student Association at their annual meeting which was held on May 23 at the Universidad de la Sabana, in Bogota, Colombia. The room in Colombia was full, with students from throughout Colombia and from Chile. Thanks to Dr. Ellen Buckner, Director of the Honors Program in the School of Nursing, and to Maria Elisa Moreno Fergusson at the Universidad de la Sabana for making the arrangements for this exciting opportunity for cross-cultural exchange!
