Evidence-Based Medicine

Evidence-based medicine, the conscientious, explicit, and judicious use of current best evidence in making decisions about individual patients and conditions, is an important foundation of medical education and clinical practice.  The practice of evidence-based medicine critically appraises the best available information, assesses its validity, and judiciously applies the derived information to clinical practice.  *
