1. Start Apple Mail
2. Pull down the Mail menu and select Preferences
3. In the Preference window, click Accounts then click the Plus Button in the lower left corner.
4. Under the Account Information tab enter
a. First Screen (screenshot)
- Full Name: "Your Name"
- Email Address: yourblazerid@uab.edu
- Password: "Your Password"
- And click Next
b. Second Screen (screenshot)
- Description: UAB Exchange
- Incoming Mail Server: mail.ad.uab.edu
- User Name: yourblazerid
- Password: "Your Password"
- And click Next
c. At the third screen (screenshot)
- Description : UAB Relay
- Outgoing Mail Server: relay.ad.uab.edu
- Click 'Use Authentication' with your BlazerID and password
- And click Finished
