Configuring Eudora 5.2 for Mac using POP3 or IMAP

1. Start Eudora
2. Pull down the Eudora menu and select Preferences (screenshot)
3. In the Getting Started window, enter the following: (screenshot)
   • Username: "your blazerid"
   • Mail Server: mail.ad.uab.edu
   • Real Name: "Your Name"
   • SMTP Server: vera.dpo.uab.edu
4. In the Checking Mail  window, select POP or IMAP (screenshot) - see Clients & Protocols for further explanation
5. Scroll down to SSL and select Required (Alternate Port) for either POP or IMAP (screenshot)
6. Click OK to begin using Eudora
