Anyone can use a Web browser and open the following URL (Uniform Resource Locator): http://www.dpo.uab.edu/~youralias/filename.html youralias is also your UAB Electronic Phonebook alias (don't forget the tilde ~), and filename is replaced by the name of the file you wish to view. You may also access/publish your homepage as:
http://homepage.uab.edu/yourblazerid
Remember, our web server is case sensitive; this means that the file named Index.htm is not the same as the file name index.htm. Therefore, pay close attention to your use of upper and lower case letters.
To make a page come up as the default web page for your site, you must name it index.html, index.htm, home.html or home.htm.
