Eudora : Time Zone Entry is Missing

Eudora displays the following error when I try to send mail;

"TimeZone entry or TZ environment used to compute your timezone is missing or has the wrong format."

or

"554 No date field given"

SOLUTION:

On a PC

• Find the file Eudora.ini - it is in your Eudora folder.
• Open it with a text editor
• Add the following timezone entry under [Settings]
  TimeZone=GMT-6

On a Mac
You must set the time zone using the Map control panel, or, if you have System 7 Pro or System 7.5, the Date and Time control panel. Remember to change your time zone for Daylight Savings Time
