How Do I configure TCP/IP Settings in Windows 2000 Professional?

  1. Right click My Network Places and then Properties

  2. Right click Local Area Connections and then Properties

  3. In the Properties window, choose Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and click Properties

  4. In the TCP/IP window, click Advanced

  5. In the Advanced window, select the DNS tab and add the following DNS addresses: 138.26.5.2, 138.26.5.66

  6. Next, select the WINS tab and add the following WINS addresses: 138.26.5.1, 138.26.5.65. Check the
    Enable NetBIOS over TCP/IP radio button

  7. Lastly, click OK until all windows are closed
