How do I configure DNS in Windows XP?

  1. Right click on Local Area Connections

  2. In the Local Area Connection Properties window under the General tab, select Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and click Properties

  3. In the TCP/IP window, under the General tab click Advanced.

  4. In the field provided enter ad.uab.edu


  5. Choose Add New Account, then click Next

  6. Lastly, close all windows
