How do I configure my computer to read UAB-Email with Entourage

Start Entourage
Pull down the
Tools
menu and select
Accounts
Pull down the
New
menu and select
Mail
Enter
Your BlazerID
+ @uab.edu in the
E-mail Address
.
Select the "
My account is on an Exchange server
" checkbox.
Enter your BlazerID in the
UserID
field. Type "uab" (without quotes) in the
Domain
field. In the
Password
field, enter the password that corresponds to your BlazerID.
Click "
Configure account manually
".
Click the
Account Settings
tab and confirm the following:
Account Name: UAB Exchange
Name: Your name
E-mail address:
Your BlazerID +
@uab.edu
Account ID: Your BlazerID
Domain: uab
Password: Your BlazerID's corresponding password
Select "Save password in my Mac OS keychain"
Exchange Server: mail.ad.uab.edu
Select "This DAV service requires a secure connection (SSL)"
UNselect "Override DAV port"
Under the
Options
tab, nothing should be selected.
Under the
Advanced
tab, confirm the following:
Public folders server: mail.ad.uab.edu/public
Select "This DAV service requires a secure connection (SSL)"
UNselect "Override default port"
LDAP Server: ldap.ad.uab.edu
Select "This server requires me to log in"
Select "This DAV service requires a secure connection (SSL)"
UNselect "Override default LDAP port"
Maximum number of results to return: 1000
Search base:
(Should be blank)
Under the
Delegate
tab, do not change anything for initial use.
Under the
Security
tab, do not change anything for initial use.
