UAB's Dr. Karen Shader traveled to Nairobi, Kenya in August to co-facilitate in a workshop held by the Kenya Education Network Trust (KENET). While there, she shared her instructional technology design knowledge with over a hundred lecturers, vice chancellors and other administrative staff of member institutions.
As a facilitator for the KENET workshop she collaborated with colleagues from around the world, including the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Higher Education, Professor Crispin Kiamba; Executive Director, Professor Meoli Kahsorda; from East Africa, Dr. Bitange Ndemo; and from South Africa, Dr. Neil Butcher.
