IT has published the “Portable Computing Device – Laptop Standard” that sets the parameters for compliance with the UAB laptop encryption mandate. The standard provides inventory and configuration standards as well as an exception process that requires Dean or Vice Presidential approval and filing and review by UAB Data Security.
