UAB's two libraries house extensive and essential resources for students in any academic area. The Lister Hill Library of the Health Sciences serves students in the schools of Health Related Professions, Dentistry, Medicine, Nursing, Optometry, and Public Health. The Mervyn H. Sterne Library serves students in the schools of Arts and Humanities, Business, Education, Engineering, Natural Sciences and Mathematics, and Social and Behavioral Sciences. The Lister Hill Library of the Health Sciences is located at 1700 University Blvd. (934-4475). The Mervyn H. Sterne Library is located at 917 13th Street South (934-4338).
