Many services offered by UAB to students can be accessed on the World Wide Web. UAB offers students e-mail accounts, file storage space, and Web hosting services. UAB computer labs are located within various academic buildings. UAB also has a computer center called ETS-Educational Technology Services, the media center for Sterne Library, which is located in the Education Building across from Sterne Library. Computer labs and ETS are open to all UAB students. ETS offers computer workstations, software applications, email, and Internet access, as well as laser printers. You must have a BlazerID and password to use these machines. ETS is located in Room 238 of the Education Building.

The UABwifi network may be of considerable use to graduate students. Those interested in wireless computer connections should visit the UABwifi website for a list of UABwifi zones.
The Mervyn H. Sterne Library (917 13th Street South) and the Lister Hill Library (1700 University Boulevard) have photocopying machines for student use. If a student drops off a document, the UAB Copy Center (1500 3rd Avenue South) will make copies.
