NIH-Funded Graduate Training Program
In Cardiovascular Pathophysiology
The new Graduate Program in Integrative Biomedical Sciences and the Departments of Pathology and Physiology at UAB are pleased to announce fellowship positions for Ph.D. students training in the general area of cardiovascular pathophysiology. These awards, funded by a five-year NIH-predoctoral training grant (T32), began September 1, 1999. Fellowships are available for one or two years. Additional information:
- NIH-level stipends provided based on years in training
- Ph.D. students in any department may apply, but priority will be given to those individuals already performing dissertation-level research specializing in cardiovascular biology
- Full tuition and fees covered
- Competitive travel awards
