Patsy E. Greenup, M.P.H., Ph.D, teaches undergraduate medical technology and graduate clinical laboratory sciences and biotechnology, including clinical microbiology/infectious diseases and biodefence. She is a member of the UAB Faculty Senate, the Institutional Biosafety Committee and the Strategic Enrollment Management Planning Group. She is a past winner of the Ellen Gregg Ingalls Award/UAB National Alumni Award for Excellence in Teaching and President's Excellence in Teaching Award. She earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Kentucky, her master's degree from the University of Minnesota and both her master's in public health and doctorate degree from UAB.
