Neuropsychological Testing All patients are offered the opportunity and encouraged to complete neuro-psychological testing. This testing is usually completed in the morning of CPODD clinic day. Testing takes about 3 hours.
Dr. Jayne Ness & CPODD Team Appointments with Dr. Jayne Ness and the CPODD team are usually in the afternoon. Families can expect to see the following team members at this one afternoon visit.

- Khurram Bashir, MD, MPH -adult neurologist, Medical Director, UAB MS Center (1st Wednesdays only)
- Yolanda Harris, RN, CPNP-AC -nurse practitioner
- Sam Rubin, MD -child psychiatrist
- Laurie Lou Smith, EdS - school psychologist
Pediatric Physical & Occupational Therapy are availabe for evaluations during the CPODD visit on an "as-needed" basis.
Other available specialties include school psychology, pediatric urology, neuro-ophthalmology, and rehabilitation.
Depending on concerns of the family and staff, this appointment may take 2-3 hours.
