A native of Gadsden, AL, received his B.A. in Psychology from Birmingham-Southern College. He later received his M.A. and Ph.D. in Clinical Child Psychology from the University of Alabama. He completed his internship in Clinical Neuro-psychology and Behavioral Medicine at Little Rock VAMC & Arkansas Children's Hospital and his postdoctoral fellowship in Neuro-psychology at Braintree Hospital/Boston University School of Medicine. He is currently the Director of Pediatric Neuro-psychology and Associate Clinical Professor at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He also enjoys helping out at his church, the Prince of Peace Catholic Church, with his wife and two children.
Services offered: Patients who see Dr. Joe are encouraged to have a comprehensive Neuro-psychological evaluation. Dr. Joe also offers consultation with families regarding strategies aimed at promoting maximal patient development.
