
Dr. Cutter is Professor of Biostatistics and Head of the Section on Research Methods and Clinical Trials at the UAB School of Public Health Department of Biostatistics. He received his MS and Ph.D. degrees in Biostatistics from the University of Texas School of Public Health. He is currently working on the CPODD project supporting the research team in evaluation, in addition to many other projects. He also developed the Multiple Sclerosis Functional Composite (MSFC), an outcome measure for use in clinical trials in MS. He serves on the National MS Society Clinical Trials Advisory Committee and on numerous data and safety monitoring boards for the National Institutes of Health. He is also on the faculty at the UAB School of Public Health, where he teaches and heads a Section on Research Methods and Clinical Trials. Outside of work, he enjoys cooking and exercise (to burn off what he eats while cooking!).
