
Dr. Drew Davis
Dr. Drew Davis is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) with a secondary appointment in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) at UAB. He is certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and has completed subspeciality fellowship training in Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine.
Dr. Davis attended medical school at the University of Alabama School of Medicine and completed his residency training in the Department of PM&R at UAB. He received fellowship training at Children's Hospital of Alabama in UAB's Department of Pediatrics, Division of Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine.
Dr. Davis is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, the American Academy of Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Medicine, the American Association of Neuromuscular & Electrodiagnostic Medicine, the Southern Medical Association, the Medical Association of the State of Alabama, the Alabama Society of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and the Jefferson County Medical Society. He is involved with a number of community organizations serving children with special needs.
Dr. Davis's special interests include management of traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, spasticity, and muscular dystrophy. His primary research interest is in neuromuscular disorders.
