Dr. Young completed his undergraduate work and received his MD from Loma Linda University in Riverside, California. After completing his internship and residency in Diagnostic Radiology from the Loma Linda University Medical Center, he joined the United States Air Force, where he served on Active Duty with the Medical Corp for 3 years. Following his military service, he completed his Pediatric Radiology fellowship from the Children's Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts and Harvard Medical School. He moved to Birmingham, Alabama in 1987 with his wife and two children, both of whom are now married and has served as a Pediatric Radiologist at the Children's Hospital of Alabama for 20 years. He is proud and honored to support the effort to bring excellence in health care to the patients with demyelinating disease and wants the very best for everyone of them.
