The Center for Pediatric-Onset Demyelinating Disease is one of six Pediatric Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Centers of Excellence in the country designated and funded in 2006 by the National Multiple Sclerosis Society (the Society). It was established by a grant awarded to the University of Alabama at Birmingham, Department of Pediatrics, and operates at the Children’s Hospital of Alabama.
