Students who wish to prepare for careers in financial institutions, such as banks, savings and loans, and credit unions, or careers in the securities industry, such as stockbroker or securities analyst, should choose this area of concentration. Topics include commercial bank management, borrowing and lending, trust services, securities markets, and portfolio management.

Major in finance requirements:
  • Minimum overall 2.5/4.0 GPA
  • Minimum grade of C or better in all business core and major courses
  • All attempts of business courses are used to calculate business GPA
