The M.B.A. and M.Ac. programs at UAB are designed to help you compete in tomorrow's job markets; As you study international business, marketing models, and accounting theory, you will learn to apply creative solutions to problems, you'll acquire practical business skills.

Accessible
Our class schedule was designed with your busy schedule in mind. With a wide range of evening and on-line classes, the M.B.A. and M.Ac. programs at UAB are the most accessible programs you can find.

Economical
Not only will you receive a solid business education in the Graduate School of Management programs at UAB, but you will also enjoy a great value as well. In fact, UAB is the only public university in the Birmingham area that offers an AACSB accredited M.B.A. and M.Ac. program. 

Diverse
You don't have to have an undergraduate business background to benefit from UAB's M.B.A. The graduate business programs include students of all ages and backgrounds from all over the country. In fact, our students hold undergraduate degrees from more than 100 different universities located throughout the world. Just over 50 percent have undergraduate degrees in business; 18 percent earned engineering degrees; and 32 percent have degrees in 50 additional subject areas. Approximately 90 percent also work full-time for approximately 120 different organizations in the Birmingham and surrounding areas. The average age of newly admitted Graduate School of Management students is 27.

Flexible
Many students take advantage of the opportunities to pursue dual degrees in public health (M.B.A./M.P.H.), health services administration (M.B.A./M.S.H.A.) or nursing (M.B.A./M.S.N).
