The Junior Information Systems Advisory Council of the UAB School of Business hosted a Golf Tournament on Monday, October 15, at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail, Oxmoor Valley, Valley Course. All proceeds will go towards endowing an IS scholarship for the UAB School of Business. The tournament began with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. with a scramble format. There were over 100 participants in the tournament, which raised over $20,000. The tournament had strong support from the business community with the following sponsorships:

Awards included Longest Drive: Matthew Kohler; Closest to the Pin: Jim Bailey; Hole in One: Jim Rhodes. 1st Place went to the CTS Team which included Phillip Miles, Trey Ferguson, Larry Lilley and Jeff Thomas; 2nd Place went to the Alabama State Team which included Adrick Holt, Larry Cobb and Willie Thomas; 3rd Place went to the HP Team which included Matt Wrenn, John Grundhoefer, Alan Boyles and Roman Dixon.
