The Alabama Retail Association and UAB are hosting our Annual Retailing Day on Thursday, September 27 at the Sheraton Birmingham Hotel. Our featured speaker is Johnny Belk, COO and Co-President for Belk's. The luncheon begins at 11:30 AM. The event will feature a presentation by Mr. Belk and then awards to Alabama's Retailers of the Year and recognition of Centennial Retailers - those in business continuously for more than 100 years.
Please consider joining us for this informative day and encourage others in your group who might find this interesting. Individual tickets are $35 each and table sponsorships for student attendees are available as follows:
Dean’s Level Sponsor -- $250
President’s Level Sponsor -- $500
Chancellor Level Sponsor -- $1,000
The sponsorships will help us cover the costs of inviting students throughout the area to the luncheon. Each sponsor will receive individual tickets and will be seated at a table with some of our area students.
