Vestavia Hills' Carrington wins national entrepreneur award

David Carrington, local business owner and president of the Vestavia Hills City Council, is one of 10 entrepreneurs nationwide being honored for entrepreneurial excellence by a national foundation.

Carrington, CEO of RacingUSA.com, will be honored with a 2009 Entrepreneurial Hero award from the Acton Foundation for Entrepreneurial Excellence, for which he was nominated by students in the University of Alabama at Birmingham's School of Business's American Marketing Association chapter.    full article
