The UAB Department of Marketing & Industrial Distribution (MKID) is a leading source for the creation and dissemination of knowledge in the field of marketing and industrial distribution. We provide academic programs dealing with the management of business functions that determine the success of both for-profit and not-for-profit organizations. Degrees are offered at the undergraduate level for marketing and industrial distribution. Our faculty participates in the MBA program and in the Administrative Health Sciences Ph.D. program. Within each of our distinct programs of study, opportunities exist for tailoring coursework to provide more concentrated areas of study.
In addition to the traditional degree programs we offer several significant and differential programs that complement the outstanding medical and engineering community resources in Birmingham and the tremendous growth opportunities for faculty and students in the vibrant Birmingham metropolitan area.
