A student-guided campus tour is the absolute best way to experience UAB up close. You’ll explore the campus, visit classrooms, and get a preview of all the exciting things in store. Plus there’s an information session with an admission counselor who will answer your questions.
Tours take place Monday through Friday (except holidays) at 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. They begin at the UAB Campus Tour Center, located on the first floor of the University Boulevard Office Building at 1201 University Blvd.
You don’t need to make an appointment to take the tour, but if you register online (below) you will receive a free parking pass and information about UAB by mail.
Honors Academy Information Sessions are offered every Monday at 10:00 a.m. at the Campus Tour Center. At the Info Session, you'll meet with an Honors Academy representative and learn more about honors options at UAB, the benefits of joining an Honors Academy program, and the application process. Please e-mail us at honorsacademy@uab.edu to let us know you're coming; you'll also want to register for the 11:00 campus tour on that day that you visit. The School of Business will be offering information sessions for students who are interested in being business majors. If you are interested in learning more about the SOB Experience, please contact Lauren Johnson at ldjohnson@uab.edu or 205-934-2453. The sessions will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the Business-Engineering Complex (BEC) Room 106 located at 1150 10th Avenue South on the following Mondays:
