This year the UAB Parents’ Association will host the second annual Family Weekend! This is an opportunity for all of our parents and family members to visit campus and enjoy a weekend of various events on campus. The annual Parents’ Association tailgate will be enhanced with an entire weekend of events. This year the Family Weekend will take place during UAB Homecoming, November 5-8, 2009.
Below you will find a list of Family Weekend/Homecoming events. Please note that all athletic events (excluding the football game) will be free with your Parents’ Association membership card. If you have questions please contact our office.
To sign up for the annual Parents’ Association tailgate party and football game on November 7, 2009!
1. You may reserve your tickets at http://main.uab.edu/Sites/apply/parents/1157/ (Tickets reserved after October 30 will NOT be mailed. They may be picked up in Blazer Village at the Parents' Association tent.)
2. Click on Parents’ Association Fall Event Ticket Reservations to reserve your tickets online!
Remember that 1st year members get 2 complimentary tickets. All other members get discounted tickets for $20 each!
Any first year member that would like more than the 2 complimentary tickets may purchase additional tickets for $20 each.
Any member that would like their student (or another guest) to eat at the tailgate with them, may purchase a meal ticket for $10 each.
Remember that we have a full weekend of events as this is the second annual Parents’ Association Family Weekend!
