The MSP Mentoring Program is an educational process where the mentor serves as a role model and trusted counselor who provides opportunities for professional development, growth, and support. Participating scholars receive information, encouragement, and advice as they navigate the college environment and plan their careers. Scholars are assigned a mentor based on their classification. Freshmen scholars are matched with peer mentors while sophomores, juniors, and seniors are matched with a faculty or staff mentor.
