On Friday, August 29, 2008 the UAB National Alumni Society joined Blazer fans and UAB friends outside of Bartow Arena around the Blaze statue for the 2008 Spirit Luncheon. The afternoon was complete with hotdogs from Full Moon, the UAB Band, Cheerleaders, Blaze, and special guests - Head Coach Neil Callaway & the UAB Team Captains.
