Major General A. C. Blalock (MBA, Business, '81) was appointed as Adjutant General of the Alabama National Guard by Govenor Bob Riley.
*Shelley Yerger Hawkins (BSN 82, MSN 87, DSN 93, Nursing) was inducted as a Fellow of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (FAANP) during the annual 2007 AANP meeting held in Indianapolis. She also received a 2 year post-doctoral fellowship from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Nursing.
Paul Logan (B.S., Justice Sciences, SBS, ‘92) was promoted to Captain by Jefferson County Sherriff Mike Hale.
Jeanne Conrade (B.S. Accounting and Information Systems, '03) successfully passed the Certified Information Systems Auditor exam in June 2007. Jeanne has been with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Birmingham since 2003, and recently moved back to Savannah, Georgia where she joined the audit department of Hancock Askew & Co, LLP as a senior auditor.
