Completed bachelor's and master's degrees in biochemistry and epidemiology respectively. Medical degree in osteopathic medicine with master's in healthcare administration. Completed a tour as a flight surgeon (USMC) and internal medicine training at NMCSD. Chief medical resident from 2002-2003 followed by fellowship training at NNMC/WRAMC. Completed fellowship in American College of Physicians and American College of Endocrinology.
